Pregnancy brings out a natural beauty in women that is unparalleled in any other season of their lives. So as your maternity photographer, I want to provide you with images that help you remember how powerful and beautiful you and your body was when growing and nurturing that precious baby inside.

Just like with my family sessions, even though there will be at least one or two of everyone-look-at-the-camera and smile images, the majority of my images come from lots of couple/family interaction and very little looking at the camera. The images will be full of warm, joyful connection so you can look back and not only see the memories you created with those you love but feel them as well.

Artistically, I'm most inspired by lots of golden light and so all my maternity sessions are scheduled during the golden hour, which is the last hour before sunset, and will be located in one of my favorite outdoor locations. The focus and highlight of my images are on you as a couple/family and so I prefer to be photographing the expecting mom in nature that is accented with simple elements.

Aside from providing beautiful images, another gift I try to give each client is the feeling of beauty and confidence. So I make sure I become a valuable resource in hair & makeup and outfit planning. More importantly, I bring passion and enthusiasm to our session that is simply contagious! It more than helps to work out those self-conscience jitters and feeling of awkwardness, allowing your best self to shine.
